Product Description
This handsome black lacquered leather box served as a container for a Chinese hat. Cylindrical shape reflects fine craftsmanship, with a vellum interior to hold the shape of the hat in place. There is a highly patinated brass hinge on the back and a brass lock on the front. The tightly stretched leather has a deep lustered patina.
